A late win over Costa Rica last time out sees Selecao sitting in pole position, and a point will be enough though top spot will be under threat with Switzerland facing Costa Rica.

Brazil have kind of under performed this world cup so far, drawing against Switzerland and winning against Costa Rica in injury time thanks to late goals by Coutinho and Neymar. They are far from safe going into the last match where a defeat will knockout them out of the tournament and they must get atleast a draw to confirm their place in the last 16.

We can expect full strength side on Wednesday with Jesus, Neymar and Coutinho starting upfront and they need to make a statement and win comfortably. However Serbia are no pushovers, they are a good solid side with powerful midfield. Though they lack cutting edge upfront.

Brazil are set to start their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Sunday, 17th June in Group E where they also play against Costa Rica and Serbia 22nd June and 27th June respectively. Brazil are also scheduled to play two friendly games ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup with them playing against Croatia on 3rd June followed by another friendly against Austria a week later.

Brazil head into their final Group E match top of the group on four points, along with Switzerland, who play eliminated Costa Rica in Nizhny Novgorod.

Serbia, with three points, have little margin for error if they are to progress to the last 16.

“This game is going to be decisive. Our continuity in this tournament depends fundamentally on this match,” said Tite, who is expected to name an unchanged starting XI, but will be without winger Douglas Costa because of a thigh problem.
